Vendekin is a technology company built around making vending and unattended retail simpler. Its name brings together the English word “vend” and the Sanskrit word “ekin”, meaning “simple” — neatly expressing the idea at the heart of the business.

The challenge was to create an identity for a technology-led company that could make a relatively complex proposition feel simple, accessible and contemporary. The resulting visual identity established a distinctive brand language that was then extended across packaging and marketing collateral.

Since its beginnings as a mobile-payment solution for vending machines, Vendekin has evolved into a hardware-enabled SaaS platform for unattended retail. The company has secured patents across multiple international markets, raised institutional funding and expanded its technology to thousands of machines across more than 15 countries.
